Culver City, CA (July 8, 2020) – Authorities have identified 63-year-old Gregory Welch, of Lakewood, as the victim of a fatal crash that took place in Culver City. The accident was reported in the 6800 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard at around 5:20 a.m. on Tuesday morning, July 7th.
According to police officials, two vehicles collided for reasons that are still under investigation. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene where Welch was pronounced deceased and one other victim in the vehicle was hospitalized. The injured victim was last reported in critical condition.
Authorities have not provided any further information.
