Los Angeles Car Crashes

California car wrecks leave tens, if not hundreds of thousands of people with serious, life-altering injuries and force them to face devastating losses of personal property, money, and worst of all, loved ones each and every year. Auto accidents in Los Angeles County are, unfortunately, a rather common occurrence.

Los Angeles car accidents take place hundreds of times per day, injuring and taking the lives of thousands of people per year. In 2017, over 90,000 people were either injured or killed due to serious traffic accidents in Los Angeles. Auto collisions are the leading cause of death in the entire state of California pertaining to unintentional injuries. Perhaps worst of all is that a very large percentage of these accidents are entirely preventable, and the result of gross driver negligence.

Some examples of common forms of driver negligence include distraction, speeding, and intoxication. Driver distraction is the leading cause of accidents across the entire nation, most likely due to the advent of hand-held devices like smartphones and tablets. A recent statistic concerning car accident causes in the United States found that approximately 94% of all traffic accidents are the result of some form of driver negligence.
