Los Angeles, CA (September 16, 2020) – An auto accident occurred on the 110 Freeway in Los Angeles this past Saturday morning that took the lives of two individuals. 

The incident occurred around 4:15 a.m. on September 12, according to the California Highway Patrol. A driver, who remains unidentified at this time, was headed south in the northbound lanes of the freeway in Harbor Gateway near El Segundo Boulevard for reasons still being determined by police. 

Upon their arrival, paramedics discovered a car had flipped onto its roof and another that had caught fire. They were unable to determine which of the two vehicles was the wrong-way driver. 

The overturned vehicle was found on the overpass connection of 182nd Street to the northbound 110 Freeway. 

Two people, who remain unidentified at this time, lost their lives in the fatal accident. 

Neither of them have been identified at this time. 

No further information has been provided concerning the details of the wreck. 

An investigation into the circumstances of the incident will be carried out by local police.
