Los Angeles, CA (July 27, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a multi-vehicle accident with reported injuries took place on Monday morning, July 27th. It happened on the 110 (Harbor) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles at approximately 8:53 a.m.
CHP officials said that crews with the Los Angeles Fire Department accompanied police at the scene after a total of five vehicles collided along the freeway. The vehicles involved were described as a red Dodge Dart, a silver Nissan Pathfinder, a black Kia Optima, a white Scion, and a white Honda Civic.
EMTs with the LAFD transported a woman and her baby to an area hospital but have not commented on their present conditions. There has been no word on whether or not anyone else was injured in the collision.
Authorities with the CHP are investigating the events that led to this incident.
